Your life is not lying in wait in the future like a wild animal or some ominous destiny. Nor is it hidden in the heavens, like a paradise or promise. Nor is it shut up in the cave or the prison of your past. It is here and now; it is what you live and what you do. At the heart of being; at the heart of the present; at the heart of everything – in the great current of life, of reality.

~Mama Drops the Ball - Big Time~
I have, momentarily, ruined Brenna's life! She has been looking forward to an audition for a Luna commericial - she has been practicing and telling everyone she sees about it! And we have been just as excited for her! Anyway, I knew that I had to have a release signed for her but I thought I had to bring it w/ us on audition day. Well, today I was reading through the release and see that it had to be mailed in by Sept. 23rd so no audition for Brenna. I am heartbroken for her and having to tell her was terrible. She was crying so hard and I feel so guilty. I know, I know - this too shall pass but, WOW, this is a tough one!

~Labor Day Weekend~
We had a nice Labor Day weekend at the cabin. We played tennis, kickball and had friends over for a cookout and bonfire. Good times!!
~Family Day~
We celebrated Family Day in Aug. which we've done every year since we brought Aubree home. It's been 5 years since we arrived home from Ukraine w/ Aubree - the time has gone so fast! We all look forward to Aug. 17th every year when we get to celebrate the day we became a family of four! This year we took the girls to the Kohls Children's Museum and then we went to our favorite japanese restaurant - Nagano! Dave and the girls LOVE sushi!!!
~Hudson Crossing Park~
The girls and I had a great time at Hudson Crossing Park today in Oswego! I'm so lucky that I get to spend my days w/ my girls!
